St John Autumn Cash Lottery (“Lottery”) is conducted by St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd (ABN 42 947 425 570) of 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley, SA, 5061 (“St John”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These terms and conditions apply to the conduct of the Lottery. By purchasing a ticket in the Lottery you agree to be bound by these terms and any other terms attached to specific prizes including the terms of redemption. The Lottery is conducted in South Australia under Lottery Licence No: M14732 New South Wales Authority No: GOCAU/2578 Victorian Permit No: 10071/25.

LOTTERY DETAILS
Available maximum prize pool of $408,222. The value of the prize pool is accurate as at the date of print of these Terms. A total of 25,000 tickets are available for purchase in the Lottery. There are 20 prizes available as part of the Lottery inclusive of the one Membership prize. Additional information is available on our website at www.stjohncashlottery.com.au. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated.
The Lottery consists of x10 “$5K-A-Day” Cash (Gold) Draws, x6 “$5K Friday” Cash (Gold) Draws, x1 Early Bird $10,000 Holiday Package Draw, x1 Early Bird Audi A1 Draw, x1 Members Draw and x1 Main Draw.
Tickets are priced at 1 for $50 or 3 for $125. Subject to the total number of tickets available, there is no limit on the number of individual tickets a person may purchase. We will use all proceeds raised through the Lottery (less costs and expenses) to continue St John Ambulance operations, activities, programs and services to the community.
Campaign Management Solutions (“CMS”) Pty Ltd (ABN 30 668 605 598) will be assisting with the telecommunications associated with ticket enquiries and purchases (excluding Victoria). Campaign Management Solutions will not be entitled to any proceeds from the Lottery or a percentage of any revenue from the Lottery. For the avoidance of any doubt and subject to eligibility outlined in these terms and conditions, all tickets purchased from the commencement of the Lottery are returned to the draw for all remaining draws, even the tickets that are successful in winning a prize prior to the Main Draw on Wednesday 25 June 2025. If ticket holders meet the membership eligibility requirements detailed in the ‘Members Draw’ section, they will also be eligible for the Members Draw.
ELIGIBILITY
The Lottery is open to all Australian residents that are a minimum of 18 years of age, other than any of the following, who are ineligible to purchase tickets in any capacity:
- any board member, committee member or staff member at St John Ambulance SA Ltd; or
- any immediate family (including spouse, de facto spouse, parent, child or sibling) of any board member, committee member or staff member at St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd; or
- any HLB Mann Judd employee or partner; or
- any Tolis & Co employee or partner; or
- any Campaign Management Solutions employee or partner.
Every individual listed on a ticket warrant at the time of purchase that they are at least 18 years of age and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, permitted to receive any of the prizes forming part of the draw at the time of purchasing the ticket.
“$5K-A-DAY” CASH (GOLD) DRAW
There will be a total of x10 “$5K-A-Day” Cash (Gold)Draws for 1 prize of $5,000 in cash (or gold) each draw. The total “$5K-A-Day” Cash (Gold) Draw prize pool is valued at $50,000.
The “$5K-A-Day” Cash (Gold) draws will be held on each business day from and including Monday 28 April, 2025, with the final one taking place on Friday 9 May, 2025. Each“$5K-A-Day” Cash (Gold) Draw will be drawn at 10:00am (ACST) at St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd, 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley, SA,5061 under supervision by representatives from an independent scrutineer.
To be eligible for the “$5K-A-Day” Cash (Gold)Draw, an individual must have purchased ticket(s) prior to 11:59pm (ACST) on the previous day.
All tickets in the “$5K-A-Day” Cash (Gold) Draws will be returned to the ticket pool to be eligible for the remaining “$5K-A-Day” Cash (Gold) Draws, “$5K Friday” Cash (Gold) Draws, Early Bird $10,000 Holiday Package Draw, Early Bird Audi A1 Draw, Members Draw and the Main Draw.
“$5K FRIDAY” CASH (GOLD) DRAW
There will be a total of x6 “$5K Friday” Cash (Gold) Draws for 1 prize of $5,000 in cash (or gold) each draw. The total “$5K Friday” Cash (Gold) Draw prize pool is valued at $30,000.
The “$5K Friday” Cash (Gold) draws will be held on every Friday business day from and including Friday 16 May, 2025, with the final one taking place on Friday 20 June, 2025. Each “$5K Friday” Cash (Gold) Draw will be drawn at 10:00am (ACST) at St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd, 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley, SA, 5061 under supervision by representatives from an independent scrutineer.
To be eligible for the “$5K Friday” Cash (Gold) Draw, an individual must have purchased ticket(s) prior to 11:59pm (ACST) on the previous day.
All tickets in the “$5K Friday” Cash (Gold) Draws will be returned to the ticket pool to be eligible for the remaining “$5K Friday” Cash (Gold) Draws, Early Bird $10,000 Holiday Package Draw, Early Bird Audi A1 Draw, Members Draw and the Main Draw.
EARLY BIRD $10,000 HOLIDAY PACKAGE
The Early Bird $10,000 Holiday Package Draw is comprised of: A $5,000 SeaLink Holiday to K’gari for two people (flights not included) and $5,000 in cash (or gold) to be used towards airfares and travels. The total Early Bird $10,000 Holiday Package Draw appropriates a total value of $10,000 RRP.
The terms and conditions of the $5,000 SeaLink Holiday package are as follows.
• The holiday is valid until 20th December 2026.
• The holiday is subject to availability at the time of booking and cannot be taken during public holidays, long weekends or over Christmas 20th December 2025 – 12th January 2026.
• Hotel accommodation and additional voucher inclusion upgrades are available at own expense unless stated above and subject to availability at time of booking.
• This Holiday is not valid with any other offer, is not transferable or redeemable for cash and must be taken intact. If lost or misplaced, vouchers will not be replaced.
• Inclusion(s) not utilised, is non-refundable. Monetary value of the inclusions cannot be used for any upgrades or in replacement of services not included in the holiday.
• Any alterations to travel plans may incur a rebooking fee.
• Kingfisher Bay Resort may, without notice to the holder of this voucher, substitute any services or the mode of carriage to carry the passenger.
• Kingfisher Bay Resort may, without notice to the holder of this holiday, cancel any services without penalty, if services offered in this holiday are no longer offered as a product at time of redemption or they are cancelled due to circumstances outside of their control for example, but not limited to inclement weather.
• Food, beverages, and incidental expenses will be at the expense of the holder of this holiday unless otherwise stated, please be aware not all restaurants are open year-round.
• Please keep your voucher for presentation to reception staff on check-in.
The Early Bird $10,000 Holiday Package Draw will be drawn on 21 May 2025 at 10:00am (ACST) at St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd, 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley, SA, 5061 under the supervision of an independent scrutineer. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59pm (ACST) on Sunday 18 May 2025 to be eligible for the Early Bird $10,000 Holiday Package Draw.
EARLY BIRD AUDI A1 DRAW
The Early Bird Audi A1 Draw prize is a 2024 Audi A1 valued at approximately $51,097 RRP. Vehicle delivery date is subject to Solitaire Automotive Adelaide availability which will be advised following the Early Bird Audi A1 Draw, but in any event within 28 days of the Early Bird Audi A1 Draw.
The Early Bird Audi A1 Draw will be drawn on 11 June 2025 at 10:00am (ACST) at St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd, 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley, SA, 5061 under the supervision of an independent scrutineer. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59pm (ACST) on Sunday 8 June 2025 to be eligible for the Early Bird Audi A1 Draw.
MAIN DRAW
The grand prize for the Main Draw comprises of: A 2025 Porsche Macan EV valued at approximately $145,730 RRP & $55,000 in cash (or gold) Vehicle delivery date is subject to Porsche Centre Adelaide availability which will be advised following the Main Draw, but in any event within 28 days. The total Main Draw prize appropriates a total value of $200,730 RRP.
The Main Draw will be drawn at 10:00am (ACST) on Wednesday 25 June 2025 (immediately following the Members Draw) at St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd, at 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley, SA, 5061 under supervision by an independent scrutineer. Ticket sales close at 11:59pm (ACST) on Sunday 22 June 2025.
MEMBERS DRAW
The prize for the Members Draw is a 2025 BMW 1 Series valued at approximately $66,395 RRP. Vehicle delivery date is subject to Adelaide BMW availability which will be advised following the Members Draw, but in any event within 28 days of the Members Draw.
The Members Draw will be drawn at 10:00am (ACST) on Wednesday 25 June 2025 (immediately prior to the Main Draw) at St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd, at 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley, SA, 5061 under supervision by an independent scrutineer. Ticket sales close at 11:59pm (ACST) on Sunday 22 June 2025.
All tickets in the Members Draw will be returned to the ticket pool to be eligible for the Main Draw.
To be eligible for the Members Draw, an individual must:
- be a member of the St John Autumn Cash Lottery (Membership is subject to the terms expressed in these terms and conditions);
- have a valid ticket purchased before the Lottery deadline of 11:59pm (ACST) on 22 June 2025: and
- remain a member of the St John Autumn Cash Lottery until the Members Draw Date, being 25June 2025.
Membership may be cancelled at any time. If membership is cancelled prior to the Members Draw date of Monday the 25 June 2025, the ticket holder will not be eligible to participate in the Members Draw.
GENERAL LOTTERY TERMS
TICKETS AND PAYMENT
Tickets can be purchased online at www.stjohncashlottery.com.au by credit card or PayPal or by phoning our call centre on 1300 946 466 (1300 946 669 in Victoria). Purchases by credit card, cash, cheque and money order can be made at our offices at 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley, SA, 5061. Purchases by cheque will only be eligible for future Draws if they are received, cleared and processed prior to the relevant draw deadline. We do not accept any responsibility for cheques that have not cleared or been processed by the cut-off times for the relevant draws, or any cheques or money orders that we do not receive in time for the draw.
Tickets may be purchased in multiple names. The first named individual on a ticket will be regarded as the primary contact individual. All prizes will be issued to the primary contact individual. We are not responsible, nor will we consider or enter into any correspondence regarding any dispute between individuals named on a ticket regarding the issuing of prizes. When purchasing multiple tickets in a single transaction, ticket numbers will be printed on a single sheet and will not be shown on each individual ticket.
We do not accept any responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Lottery period nor do we take any responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries. We are not responsible for any unforeseen technical difficulties with the ordering process and nor do we warrant the availability of the ordering process.
REFUNDS
Requests for refunds will be accepted prior to 11:59pm (ACST) on 24 April 2025 upon verification of payment. No refunds will be accepted after this date. Upon processing a refund, the corresponding ticket(s) will become void. Refunds can only be requested by calling 1300 946 466 (excluding Victoria. The Victorian telephone number is 1300 946 669) or emailing [email protected].
ALL DRAW WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The winners of the “$5K-A-Day” Cash (Gold) Draws, “$5K Friday” Cash (Gold) Draws, Early Bird $10,000 Holiday package Draw, Early Bird Audi A1 Draw, Members Draw and the Main Draw will be notified by telephone and email within 7 days of the draw and the winners will also be announced online at www.stjohncashlottery.com.au. Each winner will have 3 months from the date of the respective draw to claim their prize.
In the event that the prize remains unclaimed after 3 months from the draw, St John will make additional attempts to contact that winner and otherwise deal with the prize as outlined under these terms and conditions.
MEMBERSHIP
So that an opportunity to participate in future fundraising campaigns is never missed, by purchasing a ticket, you have the opportunity to opt in at checkout to become a member of future St John Autumn Cash Lotteries, receive our marketing emails and participate in future lotteries. By signing up to become a member, you will automatically receive tickets in the next St John Autumn Cash Lottery, as well as receive all our marketing communications going forward.
For clarity, all members will receive the nominated number of tickets and the ticket purchase price will be automatically debited from the nominated account for future St John Autumn Cash Lotteries. All members will be notified prior to the opening of the next lottery. Membership can be cancelled at any time by calling 1300 946 466 (excluding Victoria. All participants can opt in to become a member at the point of ticket purchase when purchasing tickets online. An individual must opt-in to becoming a member of the St John Autumn Cash Lotteries in order to be entered into Members Draw.
PRIVACY
By entering the Lottery, each participant consents to the personal information they submit on their entry form being collected by us to facilitate administration of this Lottery and membership with us. We will collect, use and store all personal details of participants in accordance with the terms of our privacy policy, a copy of which can be obtained at www.stjohncashlottery.com.au or to obtain a printed copy, please call 1300 946 466 (excluding Victoria. The Victorian telephone number is 1300 946 669). We may disclose your personal information to our service providers in order to facilitate the conduct of the lottery. Each winner consents to us publishing the winner’s first name and suburb/postcode unless the winner has expressly opted to remain anonymous at the point of purchase.
PRIZES
The value of the prizes at the time of redemption may vary from the value stated in these terms and at www.stjohncashlottery.com.au. The winner is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated value of the prize and the actual value of the prize at the time of redemption.
Details of all prizes listed herein are also available at www.stjohncashlottery.com.au. Letters and notifications will be addressed to the primary contact individual named on the official lottery ticket with instructions on redemption.
GENERAL
Each prize winner indemnifies us and keeps us indemnified against all claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses suffered or incurred by us, HLB Mann Judd, Campaign Management Solutions Pty Ltd, Cowell Clarke, the independent scrutineer or any third party arising out of a breach of these terms by the participant.
Where a ticket holder has, in our view, violated these terms and conditions in a material manner, we reserve our rights to invalidate any ticket issued to that individual (including where they may be one of the multiple individuals named on a single ticket). All invalid tickets will be withdrawn from all prize draws. Any determination of St John regarding the validity of a ticket or breach of these terms and conditions is final.
Entrants may attend the draws, provided the attendance will not violate any public health order or any other law of Australia.
UNCLAIMED PRIZES
Unclaimed prizes will be dealt in accordance with the applicable legislative requirements. The applicable state (as referenced below) is determined by reference to the address provided by the ticket purchaser at the time of purchase of the ticket/s.
UNCLAIMED PRIZES IN NSW AND ACT
If a prize is unclaimed in the ACT or NSW within 3 months of the draw date, St John will announce this online at www.stjohncashlottery.com.au and comply with conditions stipulated by ACT Gaming and Racing Commission in relation to a redraw. Such redraw for any unclaimed prizes in any of the draws will occur at St John premises, on 25/08/25 at 10:00am (ACDT). All draws will be conducted using the same systems and processes as the regular Lottery draws.
UNCLAIMED PRIZES IN VIC
If a prize remains unclaimed in Victoria for a period of 12 months, St John will comply with the conditions under the Gambling Regulations 2015 (Vic) in relation to the sale of prizes and payment of any proceeds.
UNCLAIMED PRIZES IN OTHER STATES (EXCLUDING NSW, ACT AND VIC)
In the event that a prize remains unclaimed for a period of 12 months, St John will retain the unclaimed prize to be used in other fundraising campaigns.
