TERMS AND CONDITIONS
St John Autumn Cash Lottery (“Lottery”) is conducted by St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd (ABN 42 947 425 570) of 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley SA 5061 (“St John”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These terms and conditions apply to the conduct of the Lottery. By purchasing a ticket in the Lottery you agree to be bound by these terms and any other terms attached to specific prizes including the terms of redemption. The Lottery is conducted in South Australia under Lottery Licence No: M14562.

For the avoidance of any doubt, all tickets purchased from the commencement of the Lottery are returned to the draw for all remaining draws, even the tickets that are successful in winning a prize prior to the Main Draw on Wednesday 26 June 2024. There are a total of 19,500 tickets available in the Lottery. The Lottery encompasses the Super Early Bird Cash Draw, the Early Bird Premium Wine Draw, Early Bird Luxury Holiday Draw and the Main Draw. If ticketholders meet the membership eligibility requirements detailed in the ‘Main Draw and Member Draw’ section, they will also be eligible for the Member Draw.
SUPER EARLY BIRD CASH DRAW

The Super Early Bird Cash Draw will be drawn at 10:00am Australian Central Standard Time (ACST) 1 May 2024 at St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd, 85 Edmund Avenue Unley SA 5061 under the supervision of an independent scrutineer. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59pm ACST Sunday 28 April 2024 to be eligible for the Super Early Bird Cash Draw.
EARLY BIRD PREMIUM WINE DRAW
15 May 2024
The Early Bird Premium Wine Draw will be drawn at 10:00am Australian Central Standard Time (ACST) 15 May 2024 at St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd, 85 Edmund Avenue Unley SA 5061 under the supervision of an independent scrutineer. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59pm ACST Sunday 12 May 2024 to be eligible for the Early Bird Premium Wine Draw.
EARLY BIRD LUXURY HOLIDAY DRAW
5 June 2024
The Early Bird Luxury Holiday Draw will be drawn at 10:00am Australian Central Standard Time (ACST) 5 June 2024 at St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd, 85 Edmund Avenue Unley SA 5061 under the supervision of an independent scrutineer. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59pm ACST Sunday 2 June 2024 to be eligible for the Early Bird Luxury Holiday Draw.
MAIN DRAW AND MEMBER DRAW
26 JUNE 2024
The Main Draw and Member Draw will be drawn from 10:00am on Wednesday 26 June 2024 at St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd at 85 Edmund Avenue Unley SA 5061 under supervision by an independent scrutineer. Ticket sales close at midnight on Sunday 23 June 2024.
To be eligible for the Member Draw, an individual must:
(a) be a member of the St John Autumn Cash Lottery (membership is subject to the terms expressed in these terms and conditions);
(b) have a valid ticket purchased before the Lottery deadline of 11:59pm 23 June 2024: and
(c) remain a member of the St John Autumn Cash Lottery until the Member Draw Deadline at 11:59pm, Sunday 23 June 2024.
Membership may be cancelled at any time. If membership is cancelled prior to the Main Draw and Member Draw deadline date of 11:59pm Sunday 23 June 2024, the ticket holder will not be eligible to participate in the Member Draw.
The Member Draw will be drawn at 10:00am, Wednesday 26 June 2024 immediately prior to the Main Draw.
All tickets in the Member Draw will be returned to the ticket pool to be eligible for the Main Draw.
LOTTERY DETAILS
Available maximum prize pool of $430,688.77. The value of the prize pool is accurate as at the date of print of these Terms. A total of 19,500 tickets are available for purchase. There are nine prizes available as part of the Lottery inclusive of the one Membership prize. The full terms and conditions of the lottery and additional information is available on our website at www. stjohncashlottery.com.au. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated. The Lottery only comprises the Super Early Bird Cash Draw, Early Bird Premium Wine Draw, Early Bird Luxury Holiday Draw, Members Draw and Main Draw. Tickets are priced at 1 for $50 or 3 for $125. Subject to the total number of tickets available, there is no limit on the number of individual tickets a person may purchase. We will use all proceeds raised through the Lottery (less costs and expenses) to continue our operations, activities, programs and services to the community.
ELIGIBILITY
Ticket holders must be 18 years or older. The Lottery is open to all Australian residents other than any
of the following, who are ineligible to purchase tickets in any capacity:
• any board member, committee member or staff member at St John Ambulance Australia SA Inc; or
• any HLB Mann Judd employee or partner.
Every individual listed on a ticket warrants that they are at least 18 years of age and, to the fullest extent
permitted by law, permitted to receive any of the prizes forming part of the draw at the time of purchasing
the ticket.
TICKETS AND PAYMENT
Tickets can be purchased online at www.stjohncashlottery.com.au by credit card or PayPal or by phoning our call centre on 1300 946 466. Purchases by credit card, cash, cheque and money order can be made at our offices at 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley SA 5061. Purchases by cheque will only be eligible for future Draws if they are received, cleared and processed prior to the relevant draw deadline. We do not accept any responsibility for cheques that have not cleared or been processed by the cut-off times for the relevant draws, or any cheques or money orders that we do not receive in time for the draw.
Tickets may be purchased in multiple names. The first named individual on a ticket will be regarded as the primary contact individual. All prizes will be issued to the primary contact individual. We are not responsible, nor will we consider or enter into any correspondence regarding any dispute between individuals named on a ticket regarding the issuing of prizes. When purchasing multiple tickets in a single transaction, ticket numbers will be printed on a single sheet and will not be shown on each individual ticket.
We do not accept any responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Lottery period nor do we take any responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries. We are not responsible for any unforeseen technical difficulties with the ordering process and nor do we warrant the availability of the ordering process.
ALL DRAW WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The winners of the Super Early Bird Cash Draw, Early Bird Premium Draw, Early Bird Luxury Holiday Draw, Members Draw and Main Draw will be notified by telephone and email within 7 days of the draw and the winners will also be announced online at www.stjohncashlottery.com.au.
Each winner will have 3 months from the date of the respective draw to claim their prize. In the event that the prize remains unclaimed after 3 months from the draw, St John will make additional attempts to contact that winner. If St John is unable to contact the winner, St John will retain the unclaimed prize to be used in other fundraising campaigns.
REFUNDS
Requests for refunds will be accepted prior to midnight on 28 April 2024 upon verification of payment. No refunds will be accepted after this date. Upon processing a refund, the corresponding ticket(s) will become void. Refunds can only be requested by calling 1300 946 466 or emailing [email protected].
MEMBERSHIP
When you purchase a ticket, you have the opportunity to opt in at checkout to become a member of future St John Autumn Cash Lotteries. By signing up to become a member, you will automatically receive tickets in the next St John Autumn Cash Lottery, as well as receiving all our marketing communications going forward.
For clarity, all members will receive the nominated number of tickets and the ticket purchase price will be automatically debited from the nominated account for future St John Autumn Cash Lotteries.
All participants can opt in to become a member at the point of ticket purchase when purchasing tickets online. All members will be notified prior to the opening of the next lottery. Membership can be cancelled at any time by calling 1300 946 466 or emailing [email protected].
PRIVACY
By entering the Lottery, each participant consents to the personal information they submit on their entry form being collected by us to facilitate administration of this Lottery and membership with us. We will collect, use and store all personal details of participants in accordance with the terms of our privacy policy, a copy of which can be obtained at www.stjohncashlottery.com.au or to obtain a printed copy, please call 1300 946 466.
We may disclose your personal information to our service providers in order to facilitate the conduct of the lottery. Each winner consents to us publishing the winner’s name and suburb unless the winner has expressly opted to remain anonymous at the point of purchase.
PRIZES
The Grand Prize for the Main Draw comprises of:
A 2024 Porsche Macan valued at approximately $108,350 RRP & $100,000 cash. Vehicle delivery date is subject to Porsche Centre Adelaide availability which will be advised following the Main Draw. Total Grand Prize appropriates a total value of $208,350 RRP.
The Members Prize for the Members Draw comprises of the below:
2024 Maserati Grecale GT 2.0L AWD SUV valued at approximately $135,588.77 RRP. Vehicle delivery date is subject to Solitaire Automotive – Maserati availability which will be advised following the Members Draw.
The Super Early Bird Cash Draw is one prize of $20,000 in cash to be deposited into an Australian bank account nominated by the winner.
The Early Bird Premium Wine Draw comprises of 5 x Premium Wine Collections valued at approximately $10,350 RRP each. Total Early Bird Premium Wine Collection prize pool is valued at approximately $51,750 RRP.
The Early Bird Luxury Holiday Draw comprises of a Holiday from Phil Hoffman Travel valued at approximately $12,445 RRP plus $2,555 spending money. The Total Luxury Holiday prize is valued at approximately $15,000. The holiday comprises a 14-night Norwegian Cruise Package, inclusive of return economy airfares from Adelaide. Travel dates are 24 September 2025 to 9 October 2025.
The total value of the Grand Prize and Members Prize at the time of the Main Draw and Members Draw may vary from the value stated in these terms and at www.stjohncashlottery.com.au. The winner is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated value of the prize and the actual value of the prize at the time of redemption. Details of all prizes listed herein are also available at www.stjohncashlottery.com.au . All prizes will be issued to the primary contact individual. Letters and notifications will be addressed to the primary contact individual named on the official lottery ticket with instructions on redemption.
GENERAL
Each prize winner indemnifies us and keeps us indemnified against all claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses suffered or incurred by us, HLB Mann Judd, Cowell Clarke, the independent scrutineer or any third party arising out of a breach of these terms by the participant.
Where a ticket holder has, in our view, violated these terms and conditions in a material manner, we reserve our rights to invalidate any ticket issued to that individual (including where they may be one of the multiple individuals named on a single ticket). All invalid tickets will be withdrawn from the Super Early Bird Cash Draw, the Early Bird Premium Wine Draw, Early Bird Luxury Holiday Draw, Main Draw and the Member Draw. Any determination of St John regarding the validity of a ticket or breach of these terms and conditions is final.
Entrants may attend the draws, provided the attendance will not violate any public health order or any other law of South Australia.
